12×16 acrylic on canvas with frame Duck, Duck, Goose! Is hanging up at the Milford SHACC through December 18th. I went to the Saturday plein air painters meetup back in October and quickly split off to do my own thing. They take too long to catch up and discuss where to paint. I don’t have time for that. They also like to choose secluded, hidden spots and my point is to be seen. So I went off and painted this little wetland off of Kent Lake. It’s right by the nature center and the main walking path. I painted this scene because I liked how many ducks and geese had gathered there for the morning. I painted in as many as I could, but there was no way I could do them all! But that’s alright, I can only give an impression anyway.
