Description
In the late summer of 2022, I went on an epic adventure with two friends from Lansing to Mackinaw City. 230+ miles over 5 days, camping at school soccer fields, riding through the farmlands of middle-Michigan.
By day 4, we arrived in Petoskey. The next day, we set out for Mackinaw City via M119, or the Tunnel of Trees.
This painting is based off of a snapshot I took riding through one of the most iconic parts of the scenic road. M119 is always a joy (and a challenge!) to ride and I hope to go back soon. There’s something healing and magic about riding along the shore of Lake Michigan.
