Pastel on sanded paper, 11×14

Painted in Summer 2025 in Dexter, MI. It took me a little while to find the right spot, but once I did, it all came together pretty nicely. But that’s not to say it wasn’t without challenges!

I tripped on my way back from the bathroom about halfway through making this one and bent my toenail back pretty badly. It was also a hot day in August, so this one has it all: blood, sweat AND tears! A real triumph story over…uh, my own clumsiness!

This pastel painting is matted to 11×14 for ease of framing. Pastels are a little fragile, so local delivery is preferred.
