That feeling when the coffee kicks in.

Owls are symbols of intuition and knowledge, with the “wise owl” being a common archetype.

This owl, however is a little different. He’s a burrowing owl. While all the other types of owls are asleep during the day, the burrowing owl is out and active. When all the other owls go up into their trees to roost, the burrowing owl retires to an intricate series of burrows and dugouts. While other owls tend to be loners, burrowing owls live in cute little colonies.

So perhaps this little burrowing owl can remind you to seek knowledge and listen to your intuition, but maybe in a different kind of way. Just like there’s more than one way to be an owl!

I’ll bet that green really sings on a warm-colored wall, too.
