14×14 Acrylic on Canvas with custom frame. Available for pickup 12/18/25. I painted this one for an exhibition in Milford called Milford Fresh Paint Out back in late October 2025. My adventure buddy Rick just so happened to have a window cleaning client in Milford the day I was looking to paint, so I tagged along with him. The client had a lovely view along the Huron River and a nice little dock sticking out into the wetland. With the fall colors popping, this was an obvious choice. The kayaks drifted by at the beginning of the session, so I took a quick picture of them in the right place on my phone and painted them in at the end. This was my first tie trying that sort of technique and I think I’ll use it a lot more in the future. Kayaks on the Mighty Huron is on display at the Milford art center, known as the SHACC.
