In Motion was a painting done around 2018 and purchased by a friend soon after. It was an early experiment with gold paint and splatters, both which would later become important elements of my work in countless other pieces and collections.

As the title indicates, I wanted to capture a sense of motion with the blue jays and echo it somehow in the background and the flowers. I achieved this with very controlled splatters and quick palette knife work. Museum-quality posters made on thick matte paper.
