8x10ish print on 9×12 paper, matted to 11×14″

One color, Cranfield Caligo Safewash Oil-Based ink on thick watercolor paper and bright white marker paper. Both options are acid-free and archival.

This print has been almost 5 years in the making! I made the initial drawing back in December of 2020 with the intention of making it into a print. However, I didn’t have the materials or skill (or patience) at the time and I just ended up with a mess and shelved the project for a while. Like more than four years.

But like any good idea, it possessed me. It kept simmering in the back of my mind.

Then one day I found myself with a little extra time and a little extra linoleum and I finally got to work. About 20 hours of work later over two weeks, I give you Heron’s Hideaway!
