A Swan in an aggressive pose. Inspired by seeing a swan at Kensington and realizing that while I always loved the elegance of the swan, I couldn’t remember the last time I painted one. It was also an excellent opportunity to start experimenting with more concrete imagery in the background patterns of the Strange Symmetries series. Those, together with my recent discovery that some greens mix with some magentas to make a gorgeous teal-blue, all came together like puzzle pieces and suddenly I had a painting!
