This is a pre-order product because I haven’t gotten the files prepared for printing yet. I expect to be able to send the files out by March 5th at the latest and will keep you up-to-date throughout the process. ELEGANCE is part of the Strange Symmetries series I started at the beginning of 2024. In this series, I’m exploring the line between symbols and abstraction as well as the meanings we apply to shapes. Do these designs behind the swan actually mean anything? Do they only mean something to me? Is it something else to you? Does the addition of gold change the meaning any? This painting in particular was also a study in magenta and green. There are certain shades of magenta and green that actually play very nicely together and mix into a pleasant teal color and I was having some fun exploring those pigments.
