You love your garden. I love your garden. Let’s paint your garden!
Hey there, my name is Brian Fritz and I’m a local artist out of Howell, MI. I paint a lot of things, mostly birds and wildlife, but one of my favorite subjects is gardens. Not only are they beautiful, but they’re art unto themselves. They’re evidence of human love, motivation and passion. Gardens are hard work and you know it!
My mom is a gardener and landscape designer, so I spent a lot of summers growing up in the gardens. Planting, pulling, deadheading, feeding. I know the work that goes into making and maintaining a garden. I also know that a garden is never done. It is ever-changing and growing.
And that’s what I’m looking to celebrate with my Habitats project.
The concept is simple: I show up with my easel and paint your garden.
Pick your size, location and viewpoint and over the course of about two hours, I will make a painting of your garden. I work in acrylic on canvas, so the work will be dry and ready to hang that same day.
