<p>Pastel on sanded paper, 11×14 matted</p> <p>A quick study of a beautiful eastern redbud in the back yard. It stopped me in my tracks and asked me to paint it.</p> <p>Who am I to say no?</p>   A note about pastels: Pastels are basically just pigment dust on paper, so you can imagine how fragile they are. That’s part of the reason why I don’t mail them out like prints or watercolors. And so, to the extent that I can manage, I would prefer these to go to local Southeast Michigan collectors so I can personally deliver them.
