Clear for Takeoff
In collaboration with the Michigan Audubon Society and Sandhill Crane Vineyards, I present: Clear for Takeoff! Half of all proceeds of this print go to the Michigan Audubon Society. The original 15×30″ acrylic on canvas took me nearly a year to complete. Sure my time filled up with art fairs and other paintings, but really I was just stumped for a few months. This was a combination of several reference photos chopped up, remixed and rearranged, some from my own travels and some from friends. Birds are important to me and I feel very strongly about protecting the natural world. I spend a lot of time outside, hiking, birding, biking, just enjoying nature. It’s where I feel peace. And it turns out that when you help the birds, you end up helping the world.
So of course when Sandhill Crane Vineyards asked me if I wanted to partner with them and the Michigan Audubon Society and hang up one of my latest paintings, my answer was a resounding YES!
So here’s how it works: for any of my art that you buy at Sandhill Crane Vineyards, half of my proceeds will go to the Michigan Audubon Society. The same is true of the Clear for Takeoff print on this page.
