Whenever something needs to be done &#8211; trailwork, cooking at a race, helping with a kids ride &#8211; people like you are there pitching in to make great things happen. <\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s not just the same core people. Using our chapter volunteer time recording tool, <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">111 <\/span>volunteers have recorded over <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">1600 hours <\/span>so far this year. That&#8217;s really amazing when you stop and think about it. One hundred and eleven people cared enough about our cause to share of one of the most precious things they possess &#8211; time! And it&#8217;s just part of the picture &#8211; I&#8217;ve worked side by side with people all day on projects who haven&#8217;t yet bothered to log their time. <\/p>\n<p>As part of the Teaming for Trails program, the MCMBA received a grant of 12 pairs of nice 26&#8243; and 29&#8243; MTB tires from CST to support our trail building volunteers. We&#8217;ve decided to do a random drawing from our pool of volunteers for the first six pairs and to hand out an additional set of tires at each of our next 6 trail days.
