Build Your Nest!
Your home is an extension and reflection of your soul.
Why not fill it with beautiful things that inspire you?
Well, probably because it can be difficult to find real, meaningful things in our isolated and atomized world.
These days we all have friends who we only see on screen and we experience art and culture through these screens as well. Wouldn’t it be nice to look at some real, physical art? Maybe talk with a real local artist?
That’s what art fairs are for, right?

Have you ever gone to an art fair to find something unique and special just to be overwhelmed at, well, EVERYTHING?
Even if you find something you love, it’s hard to tell how a painting is going to look on your walls, in your lighting, with the rest of your decor. There’s just no context!
The truth is, art fairs are a great place to discover and sample art, but they’re not a good place to really experience it fully. It’s not a place for serious art buyers.
What if I told you I have a better way?
Let’s Build Your Nest!
In more than 20 shows I’ve done in the last year, I’ve noticed one important thing: people aren’t ready to commit to buying art right there at the art fair. And there are a lot of valid reasons for that– they don’t want to carry something through the whole fair, they don’t know which piece would look best in which spot, they want some more time to think about the purchase and really fall in love with the painting. How could I possibly expect you to pick out the perfect painting for your space on a hot day in a tent in the middle of a field?
You wouldn’t. You couldn’t!
AND THAT’S OKAY!
There’s a lot of pressure on both sides at an art fair. Let’s settle it down a little. Let’s bring a little of that experience into your house, in a more casual way. Let’s look at the art on your walls, move things around, talk about it in a relaxed setting. It’s a much better approach to your art collection.
But don’t just take it from me!
“My wife Rebecca and I already had one of Brian’s prints in our dining room and were looking for some larger statement pieces for other rooms. Having him visit our home with a selection of his work allowed us to find beautiful paintings that pull whole rooms together, while hearing stories about what drives his creative process. We’ve gotten so many compliments already on the bluebird we selected!”
